Student Employment
There are many student employment opportunities at Principia College that vary from semester to semester.
Jobs on campus include becoming an Admissions student ambassador, caring for the birds in the biology aviary, helping our Dining Services staff with line service or cashiering, assisting other students as a language or writing tutor, lifeguarding at the College Natatorium, supporting campus events as a media technician, or working as a resident assistant in the dorms.
All are on-campus, entry-level, part-time, and temporary positions designed to prepare students with practical, transferable work experience, build healthy work habits and ethics, and help students learn how to manage their priorities and time.
No matter how you choose to get involved, the Student Employment office is available to assist Principia College students, faculty, and staff in having the best student work experience possible.
The Student Employment Office maintains a central hiring website where all positions are posted, along with directions on how to apply for each position.
All students interested employment must go through a pre-employment process that includes filling out the following documents:
Employment Application
Fed W-4
IL W-4
I-9, w/ list of acceptable ID document
Student Employment Agreement
Direct Deposit enrollment form (optional, but strongly recommended)
You may wish to print, complete, sign, and mail your application, resume, and all forms prior to arriving on campus. If so, please mail to:
